I did a little junking at the beginning of last week. I knew it was going to be a good day when the first thing I spotted was this Gen-U-Ine bark cloth pillow. It was in great shape and the colors are still bright with just the perfect amount of fade. And because for some reason I can never get enough aluminum serving pieces I had to add these two to my burgeoning collection.

The one without the handle is hand hammered and is very heavy. I love to use these, especially in the Summer. I like to put them in the freezer and then serve melon or berries on them. They come out all frosty and people think they are getting a treat. I also found this New York plate.

I visited there about five years ago and fell in love with the city. I have a rather large collection of old state plates. I have always thought it would be fun to have a dinner party and set the table using them along with corresponding souvenir glasses. Maybe someday I can put together the right combination of people who would find it charming and not wack-a-do.

I had to have this "muffin" tin. The holes are more like little bundt pan shapes. I like to use them to make individual bread puddings or berry bottom cake. This one really needs a good scrubbing but when I get done with it the desserts will be worth the extra elbow grease. And certainly last but not least I had to have these two little orphans.

Yes, the dog is wearing a beret, I think. He looks very somber. I think he needs a little cheering up. Maybe I will turn him into something up cycled and give him a better attitude. The little oil can is just a sweet tidbit. I couldn't pass it up. It just seems happy and joyous all dolled up with it's sweet paint job. Whenever I am out and about I always think I am shopping for my Etsy store but it seems like this post was all about me. I have had a rough week so I can honestly say, for once, without guilt, "Greed Is Good."
