The only thing I love more than junk is gardening and working in my yard. Saturday Linda and I went to clean up our booth and add some new merchandise at the Whistle Stop and it gave us the perfect opportunity to stop at my favorite nursery. It is one of my happy places. It is a family owned business that started when one generation started selling bedding plants out of the back of a converted school bus and now is owned by the third generation that has taken it and made it even bigger and better. It has one the best selections of plants around and every year they always have something new and unusual.

People from all around the area bring them their pots and boxes and they plant some of the most extraordinary container gardens. I'm afraid my photos just don't do the plantings justice. I am getting use to a new camera and I admit I got a lot of shots with my finger half over the lens.

I could spend hours here as well as many of my hard earned dollars but I restrained myself and only bought enough to fill up the back end of the Jeep. I bought a new variety of rose that is a magenta color and is advertised to smell like cloves, one of my favorite scents. I am planting a new rose garden and as soon as it gets going I will include some pictures.
